OtherHalf-Chinese Stem Cell Initiative
Vancouver Cambie Lions donated 1000 dollars to OtherHalf-Chinese Stem Cell Initiative on August 27th. By doing that, we wish we will motivate more people and organizations to promote stem cell donor registration. President lion Elsie Tse and Secretary PP lion Jose Ip presented the cheque.
Diabetes Wellness Day (Chinese)
Organized by Vancouver Cambie Lions Club and Canadian Diabetes Association, the Diabetes Wellness Day was a big success! Over 2000 participants turned up. All sessions and info exhibits were appreciated by participants. Thanks to all volunteers who make the whole thing possible. Special thanks to Co-chairperson IPP Lion Raymond and PP Lion Thomas who has put in countless hours toward this event. Enjoy the video and photos slide below.

Drive For Food with Dueck GM
Date: August 26th, 2012
Time: 11am to 6pm
Venue: Lansdowne Mall, Richmond (North East Parking Lot)
When you test drive a participating GM vehicles on Sunday August 26th, 2012, GM will donate $25 to Food Bank to help those in needs of help. Yes! That’s all you need to do to in order to help someone out there! isn’t it easy? Gather your family members and friends who have a valid BC Driver’s License and meet us up in Lansdowne Mall this Sunday!
Spring Conference Contest Result
Vancouver Cambie Lions has made excellent result again this year. Of course we were all there for the fun of it mainly but it’s nice to top it with nice contest result. Please see Chairperson President Elect Lion Clement’s thank you note.

Each winner and runner-up have been awarded a trophy and award certificate. Result would be posted on 19A’s website too.
