Our new Board installation party often combine with our Leos and Club Branch’s installation and raise fund for one or two beneficiaries.
Cambie Lions new board installation dinner was held last night at Continental Seafood Restaurant in Richmond. The new board, led by President Lion Jose Ip received great support from friends, families and fellow Lions. The event raised $5000 for St Paul’s Foundation.
A huge thank you to you all who joined us last Sunday July 22, 2018, 24th Board Installation. In no particular order, thanks to Vancouver Arbutus Lions Club, Vancouver Broadway Lions Club, Burnaby Lougheed Lions Club, Vancouver Cathay Lions Club, Vancouver Chinatown Lions Club, Vancouver Chinatown Lioness Club, Vancouver Diamond Lions Club, Vancouver Galaxy Lions Club, Vancouver Mt. Pleasant Lions Club, Vancouver Metropolitan Lions Club, North Vancouver Host Lions Club, Vancouver Pacific Lions Club, Vancouver Shaughnessy Lions Club and Vancouver Sunshine Lions Club. Our special thanks to our special friends from Saint Paul Foundation, Villa Cathay Care Home and Vancouver Sowers Society of Education. We tried not to miss anyone but if it happens, our apology.
Just you know we made two new club records for this party. Most tables and most funds raised. Feeling proud we were able to donate $7,500 to Mount Saint Joseph Hospital – St. Paul’s Foundation.

Thanks to the great team efforts and spirit of all the Club members of VCLC . The great ‘old guards’ support and guidance have demonstrated to be the ‘engine’ to have ensured continuous success and growth of VCLC. All our guests, families and members had a great time celebrating and witnessing the installation of our new Board of Directors for year 2016-2017 led by our very own President Iven Tse.
Among all the fun and fellowship, we raised $2,000 to support the work of Strathcona Community Dental Clinic in bringing quality dental services to low-income families.
Our very first Tri-Board Installation Ceremony has been held successfully. Board of Directors for Vancouver Cambie Lions Club and for Vancouver Cambie Leos Club are installed. Vancouver Cambie Junior Club Branch was chartered and Board of Directors installed. Imagine the amount of people getting on and off the stage, receiving awards and giving speech. Exciting!
Our newly installed Board of Directors contain most of previous year’s directors plus two fresh blood, Lion Emilie and Lion Iven.
We will be installation the incoming Board of Directors of Vancouver Cambie Lions Club and Vancouver Cambie Leos Club. It is our honor to have DG Lion Shella Keung to install the two new Boards for us. Part proceed goes to Strathcona Community Dental Clinic. Please note event info as followed. Fundraising for Vancouver Cambie Leos Club and Strathcona Community Dental Clinic
The evening features excellent Chinese dinning, raffle draws, Leos Performance and Karaoke fundraising. Everyone is welcome to sing or pledge someone to sing. Download Pledge Form. Proceed of the evening with be donated to Vancouver Cambie Leos Club and Strathcona Community Dental Clinic – a non-profit clinic for children.
