Telethon on April 9th, 2011
Just like every year, Vancouver Cambie Lions members and friends has hosted the phone centre for the TV-Radio-Telethon to rasie fund for Canadian Cancer Society. There were about 100 people in and out of the phone centre from 12:00noon to 12:00midnight. At peak hour from 6pm to 10pm, there is a volunteer attending almost every phone.
For the evening, we have recieved over $97,700 of pledges.
