Semi-Final Contest: April 2, 2016 at Community Mental Wellness Association of Canada

Final Contest: April 9, 2016 at Aberdeen Centre, Richmond

Objectives

  • To raise funds for the Horizons of Richmond School District that provides services for the students of the local community.
  • To provide a platform for students to strengthen their language skills in both English and Chinese languages and encourage cooperation through games and activities.
  • To provide an opportunity for the young people to train themselves to be proficient leaders and enhance their passion for community services.

Senior Home Visitation

Date: Feb 27, 2016 2pm – 3pm

The high light of our yearly visitation of Villa Cathy is drawing near . Feb. 27 th. Sat. 2 P. M. Sharp.

Thanks to Thomas , he has successfully invite the Little dancers again to perform for our seniors. Another exciting new is that our newest member Susanne Wong will be performing for us & the seniors with(beautiful Chinese opera outfit ) .

Bowlathon – Bowl for Big Brother

October 25th, 2015 Sun 2pm to 4pm REVS Bowling Centre

Again, Big Brother is kind to accommodate our schedule even though our Bowlathon falls outside of their usual bowling month. Venue has changed to the REVS Bowling Centre, 5502 Lougheed Hwy, Burnaby.

19th Anniversary Christmas Party

A record breaking $10,790+ was raised!

Donation was made to Lions Foundation of Canadian Dog Guide, The OtherHalf – Chinese Stem Cell Initiative & Typhoon HaiYan Disaster Relief.

200+ Lions, Leos, families and friends gathered in Radisson Hotel in Richmond on November 30th 2013 and made history.  Among the fun and fellowship, beautiful music and dance, cookies sales and pledged Karaoke singing, Secretary Dr Vivian Lo had won the prize for raising the most pledge dollar ($1,060) for her Karaoke singing.  Vancouver Cambie Lions Club did it again and raised over $10,000 for those who needed help.

May 17th, 2014 Visitation Vancouver Diamond Lions Club New Board Installation

One full table of us went support the course of Vancouver Diamond Lions Club’s New Board Installation Party.  The night was filled with music, dance and prizes.
